Truer words have never been sung.

Dent May and his Magnificent Ukulele might not know it all, but they know thatYou can’t force a dance party”and irony mixed with a folky instrument always works. Dent May is about 30 degrees from being a bad 60s lounge singer, but somehow he and his Ukulele create a perfect synergy and from this, mixed with his moody, pseudo disdainful lyrics, emerges a mecca of hipster cool. Sure his arrogance and too school attitude make him slightly irritating and while he isn’t sweet or even all that cute, it can’t be denied he makes us sway and bounce to a song about the impossibility of trying to get people to dance….That takes talent people.

Oh and Austin Artist,Public School’s own, William Bryant is responsible for the beautiful artwork seen above….just another reason to feel out Dent May and his Magnificent Ukulele.
