Don’t Taunt a Tiger…..or a Slothbear.
Who would taunt a tiger? I’m not sure, but I think if your ever considering doing a little taunting press play on Slothbear’s “Don’t Taunt a Tiger” , as a friendly reminder that kisses to the jugular by a jungle beast might not be that pleasant.
Slothbear makes noisy, acidic pop songs with a cool catchiness that can’t stop, won’t stop. This tune is a particular favorite track of mine, and while the lyrics are hardly discernible, this jam has more treble and fire than you can shake a stick at. Oh and for future reference slothbears can gallop faster than a human can run and according to wikipedia, Sloth bears have a great vocal range. they can make over 25 different sounds in 16 different contexts. Sounds such as barks, screams, grunts, roars, snarls, wickers, woofs and yelps are made when angered, threatening or when fighting. That’s one talented Slothbear and quite a fitting name for this talented NYC musical collective.
LISTEN TO IT!
