Even with my limited hip hop repertoire, I think that it’s pretty obvious The Roots latest album, How I Got Over, is so good it’s silly. Honestly, I can’t really make a worthwhile critique of the album because I am just that in love with it. With tracks featuring talents like John Legend, Monsters of Folk and Joanna Newsome this album knows no stranger. The Roots literally have something to offer every ear…so pick your poison.
